Volunteer Co-ordinator (unpaid)
Do you believe Britain is better off in Europe?
If so, you may be exactly who we’re looking for.
Cornwall for Europe (CfE) is a grassroots movement of local activists from across the political spectrum, campaigning for continued membership of the European Union.
We’re after an experienced volunteer coordinator for 10-15 hours a week to help organise our volunteers, assist with our campaigns, and help the smooth running of our overall operations.
If you have experience managing volunteers or you’ve worked on political campaigns in the past, we’d love to hear from you.
This is an unpaid position, but you’ll be reimbursed expenses and you’ll be part of one of the biggest pro-European movements in the South West.
Typical duties will include:
- Responding to volunteer emails
- Maintaining a database of volunteer personal details, skills, and availability to be used as the campaign progresses
- Coordinating volunteer activities across Cornwall
- Reporting back to the central Cornwall for Europe (CfE) committee on a regular basis
The dedicated CfE committee will support you throughout the tenure of your role. The expectation will be that as the campaign develops, you’ll receive increasing help from our growing volunteer base.
Send your C.V. and a short covering letter outlining your experience – including what you can bring to Cornwall for Europe – to Nick Prescott at email@example.com by Sunday 24th February 2019.
